Easy Activities to help your kids learn about their Filipino heritage

Looking for some fun and easy activities to do with your kids that celebrate their Filipino heritage? We've got you covered.

Here are free downloads that you can print at home and do with your kids!

For those of us raising our kids outside of the Philippines or outside of Filipino family and friends circles, we need to be more deliberate about the exposure that we give our kids to their Filipino roots and activity sheets like this, though simple, can help!

These little ones seem to be enjoying themselves.

It's so exciting to see our Filipino activity sheets at in-person events. Nothing like seeing the kids interacting with their parents and each other and talking about their favorite Filipino food.

Thank you to Filipino Story Time Seattle and to the Intergenerational Preschool for hosting this lovely Filipino gathering.

And what's a Filipino food themed event without ube? Bring more Filipino food learning to your home by picking up Hannah Arp's book, Purple Ube.

Teach kids young about where they come from. Help them be proud of their roots by exploring and learning about it. And get them started on writing their own Filipino story.

If you want to keep your kids exploring and writing their own Filipino Story, check out our My Filipino Story Activity Book for kids 8-12 years old. Filled with journal prompts, family interview questions, and pops of Filipino trivia, you and your whole family will enjoy uncovering the parts of you that make you Filipino.

Available worldwide on Amazon.
